680g ground lamb

1 medium yellow onion, peeled

1 teaspoons allspice, 1/3 palmful

1 ½ teaspoons ground cumin, ½ palmful

½  teaspoon ground cinnamon, eyeball it in your palm

1 small red chile pepper, seeded and minced

1 egg, lightly beaten

A handful plain bread crumbs

Salt and freshly ground black pepper

1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil

1 cup Greek yogurt

1 large clove garlic, peeled

¼  cup mint leaves, minced

4 large soft pitas

½  red onion, peeled and sliced thinly

½  small red cabbage, shredded
