For the cake:

4 tbsp caramel or dulce de leche (you can buy this in a tin or make your own)

4 large eggs

100g caster sugar

125g self-raising flour

1 tsp bicarbonate of soda

1 tsp baking powder

10g instant espresso coffee powder or 1 shot very strong espresso

75ml vegetable oil

For the flan:

400ml coconut milk

397g can sweetened condensed milk

3 large eggs

1 tbsp vanilla paste
