100 g (1 slab) 65% dark chocolate
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp creamy liquor, such as Amarula
Serve with
2 Stroop waffles
2 large scoops of berry ice cream
Top with
maraschino cherries
Method
1. Place the chocolate, butter and creamy liquor in a double boiler and heat until chocolate is melted and the sauce is glossy and with a running consistency. Turn off the heat.
2. Place a waffle on each plate. Top with a scoop of ice cream, drizzle with the chocolate sauce and top with cherries.
