Ingredients

filling
2 T oil
2 large spring onion, chopped 
2 cloves garlic, crushed  
400g spinach, rinsed (not patted dry) and chopped 
Pinch salt and pepper

Meatloaf

6 bread slices, crust removed  - sliced store-bought  brown old cape or Albany toasting bread
160 ml barbeque sauce, to soak bread in
1,5 kg beef mince
1 large onion, very finely chopped
4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
4 T beef stock powder
½ tsp salt and freshly ground black pepper 

Topping 
80 ml barbeque sauce 
250 g smoked streaky bacon 
Garnish
Flat-leaf parsley
