Ingredients

  • For the dough:

  • 1 1/4 cups warm water
  • 1 1/8 tsp instant dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ cup semolina flour
  • 2 ½ to 2 ¾ cups plain flour
  • 1 ½ tsp coarse sea salt
  • For the syrup :

  • ¼ cup white corn syrup
  • 3 tbsp water
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • For the toppings:

  • ½ cup chopped dried cranberries
  • ½ cups chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate and demerara sugar and cinnamon for sprinkling
