For the crust:

  • 60g sugar
  • 165g unsalted butter , melted

For the caramel:

  • 120ml double cream
  • 110g unsalted butter , at room temperature
  • 340g light brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp water

For the chocolate layer:

  • 340g milk chocolate chips
  • 120ml double cream
  • 1 tsp smoked sea salt, optional
