1/2 cup stout beer (such as Guinness or Castle Lager Milk Stout)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract


For the meringue:

55g semisweet chocolate, chopped

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 tablespoon glucose

1 cup white sugar

3 large egg whites

1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar

Pinch of salt

2 teaspoons vanilla extract
